She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Swanström and Vivian Swanström (Luce) of Farson, Wyoming.; her daughter Evonne Howery-Carlson; her son-in-law Tim Tangren; her granddaughter Lisa Tangren; her great grandchild Tarin Guerrero; and her brother Wallace Swanstrom.

She is survived by: her children, Justin Durand (Tim Johnson) of Denver, Colorado, Linda Tangren of Payson, Utah and Laura Ferre of Denver, Colorado; her sister Betty MacNaughtan of Heber City, Utah; and her former husband Lawrence Ferre of Santaquin. She is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

A Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Cathedral (1350 N Washington St, Denver, CO 80203). A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at the All Souls' Walk Columbarium.
