He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Bacherl Salz; his children, Lezli Bradley (Scott), Jason Salz (Nicole), Alyson VanderPloeg (Dan) and Joshua Salz (Laura); his grandchildren, Duncan Bradley, Michael Salz, Hanna Salz, Ava Salz, Emily Salz, Cricket VanderPloeg and Logan VanderPloeg; and his brother Stanley Salz.
The Salz family asks that memorial contributions be made in Harvey's name to the Jewish Family Services: Jewish Family Services.
