He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Edward Bakke and Wilma Bakke (Luther); his brother Jay Bakke; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Rae and Barbara Wetzel.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Schuyler Bakke; his sister Diane Rae; his siblings-in-law, Sandy Bakke and Peter Schuyler (Stephanie); his sons, Jeb Bakke (Evan), Karl Bakke (Traci), Doug Bakke (Audrey), Greg Bakke (Jennifer Bonsall) and Chris Bakke (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Jake, Alison, Zach, Wesley, Mitch (Sarah), Regan, Paige, Jeremy, Alex (Maggie), Adam, Sophie and Jack Bakke; his great grandchildren, Thomas and June Bakke; his niece Debbie Selbst (Howard); and his nephew Phillip Wetzel (Vicky). He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cherry Hills Country Club (4125 S University Blvd, Englewood, CO 80113).
