Constance Potter Obituary

Constance Helene Potter "Connie" passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8, 2024, in Denver, Colorado, after battling the effects of a traumatic brain injury after visiting her son. Born on June 21, 1946, in Stamford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of James and Christine "Kay" Manos and sister to Nicholas Manos. A 1964 graduate of Rippowam High School, Connie built a fulfilling career over 40 years in marketing, public relations, and customer service, with roles at Putnam Trust, Group W Satellite Communications, and lastly Greenwich Hospital, where she worked under Nancy Rosenthal and Frank Corvino.

In addition, Connie also worked at The Water's Edge at Giovanni's in Darien, alongside Giovanni, Sal, and JoAnn, where she brought her warmth and humor touching lives at countless celebrations. She also revitalized Manos Soap Co being the CEO, originally founded by her mother Kay Manos, while partnering with her only son, Robb Caster (Nicholas), to grow the family skincare business. Robb was the pride of her life, and her devotion to him never wavered, especially as she supported him through his lifelong hearing impairment.

Connie was known for her kindness, strong connections with everyone, and ability to brighten the lives of those around her through her personal and professional life. She also was a member of The Ladies Philoptochos Society at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church as well.

A memorial service will be offered in Connie's memory at 11:00am to 11:30am on Sunday, December 22nd, 2024 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1230 Newfield Ave, Stamford, CT 06905. From 11:30am onward we will have coffee and pastries down in the auditorium after the service. The burial will take place at a later date next to her mother at Fairfield Memorial Park in Stamford.
