He was predeceased by: his father Theodore Bloomberg. He is survived by: his wife Meredith Linker Bloomberg; his children, Jed and Darcy; his mother Jamie; his parent-in-law Sandra; his sibling-in-law Jessica; and also Owen Elkington.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Rose Community Foundation and National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
