As we bid adieu to Billie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Billie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William (Elizabeth Cuthriell) and English; and her husband Sergeant First Class Thomas V.. She was also cherished by her two sons, five grandchildren.

Billie C. Flippen died peacefully on the morning of January 7, 2025, having succumbed to complications from Alzheimer's disease.
