It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Virginia Harding (Delta, Colorado), who passed away at the age of 99, on August 21, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hazel Overbay (McDowell) and Leon Overbay; her husband Bob (Bob); her brother Charles; her granddaughter Shona St. John; her sister Helen Jurca; her children, Tom Harding (Daphne) of Delta, CO and Janet St. John of Carlsbad, NM; her grandchildren, DeAnn Baker, Brad Harding and Robert St. John; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Andrew Baker, Sydney and Ryan St. John; and also Tom.

In lieu of flowers, Virginia's family requests that donations be made to the Delta United Methodist Church, HopeWest of Colorado, or the Delta County Libraries.

“What a wonderful woman, so admired! Bob and Virginia could have retired like most, but they chose to contribute so much to Delta: Bob as a several term Mayor when so much progress happened; also chair of the Library expansion and the rebuilding of the Methodist Church when it burned. Virginia was surely the woman behind a successful man. She served on the Friends of the Library and was so excited about the little lending library she created at her home. Very supportive of women in leadership.”
