Though Martha may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Martha touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Templeton and Guy Templeton; her former husband Eugene K. Tunks; her husband Florentino Mierra; and her children, Monte Eugene Tunks and Carma Lynn Tunks Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Frederick G Tunks (Inga Harris-Tunks) of Cadiz Kentucky, Keith A Tunks and Shawna M Tunks of Delta, Colorado; her stepdaughter Lorna Mannon; and her granddaughter Emily Tunks of Dinosaur. She is also survived by several other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Delta (1250 Pioneer Rd, Delta, CO 81416).
