It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lola B. Distel (Delta, Colorado), who passed away on November 16, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter E. Forsythe and Blanche L. Forsythe (Dowd); her husband Joseph John Distel; her children, Bill Distel (Dorothy) of Buena Vista, CO, Marvin Distel (Elena) of Monroe, Bob Distel (Darlene) of Grand Junction, CO and Miletta Knob (Ray) of Delta, CO; her daughter-in-law Donna Distel of Olathe, CO.; her sister Mildred Schlappe of Delta, CO.; and her son Walter. She was also cherished by eighteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, and ten great great-grandchildren.
