We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2023, at the age of 83, James Lee Winkler (Delta, Colorado), born in Sacramento, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Andrew Winkler (Alice) and Alice Beaman Winkler; his siblings, Fred Winkler, Mary Carver, Kathleen Campbell, Janice Whomble, Jerry Winkler (Nancy) of Eckert and Jackie Churches (Don) of Texas; his children, Mary Strickland (Doug) of Delta, William Winkler (Amber) of Missouri and Robert Winkler (Chris) of Delta; and his grandchildren, Mary Catherine Scraggs, Linda Ray (Mike), Paula Strickland, Caleb Vanstrom, Patrick Vanstrom (Angela), Samantha Winkler, Zachary Winkler and Steven Winkler. He was also cherished by 11 Great Grandchildren, numerous other relatives, and a world of Friends.
