He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Scheetz and Elizabeth "Betty" Scheetz (Pfifer); his brother Sylvester "Danny" Scheetz; his son Mark Scheetz; and his grandsons, Chauncey Morgan and Nathan Scheetz.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Scheetz (White); his children, Jerry Scheetz (Gina) of Montrose, CO, Ron Scheetz (Kerri) of Orchard City, CO, Barbara Armendariz (Manuel), Suzann Morgan (Cliff) of Delta, CO and Tamra Scheetz (Ray Blake) of Yacolt, WA; and his brother Leroy Scheetz (Frances) of Delta. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers or food, they would like those who are interested in helping to use their money to "pay it forward" with Eugene in their hearts.
