He was predeceased by: his parents, Lela Retha (Durfee) and Leonard L. Wilcox; his brother Cecil Stites; and his stepsiblings, Bud Wilcox and Jean Hehn.
He is survived by: his children, Edwin Leroy Wilcox Jr. (JaVona) of Grand Junction, CO, Lori Timbreza (Jimmy) of Delta, CO and Kaye Hotsenpiller (Dan) of Montrose, CO; and his sisters, Lena "Teddy" Ziegler (Don) of Golden, CO and Judy Sebring (Walt) of Delta, CO. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
