He was predeceased by: his parents, Rockford Scott and Marie Scott. He is survived by: his wife Carla Scott of Delta; his children, Rod Scott (Carol) of Centennial, Dean Scott (Carla) of Craig, Don Scott (Jessica) of Buena Vista, Receene Able (Charlie) of Nathrop, Dana Fox (Stan) of Craig and Jack Wiseman (Sarah); and his sisters, Louise Jordan of Pueblo and Jenell Walck (Joe) of Hesperus. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
