He was predeceased by: his parents, Zurena Smith (Weeks) and John Conn Smith; his former wife Rose Smith; his son Mark; his sisters, Joyce Carter and Sherry Nicolas; his grandson Joey Smith; and his great grandchild Grace Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Kirk Smith (Janet) of Delta, CO and John Smith of Grand Junction, CO; his daughter-in-law Rhonda (Dennis) of Montrose, CO; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Keehfuss of Montrose, CO. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
