With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Lewis Nielsen of Delta, Colorado, born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, who passed away on February 7, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Edward and Jessie Meyers Nielsen; and his son Scott Erik Nielsen. He is survived by: his former wife Betty Marie Bruce; his wife Sandra Scott; his sister Carole Nielsen Cool of Grand Junction, CO; his daughters, Kathy Brown (Brian) of Amarillo, Texas and Suzy Conner of Amarillo, Texas; his grandchildren, Ronna McAdams (Kyle) of Amarillo, TX, Lauren Dyess (Wesley) of Amarillo, TX, Landon Brown of Amarillo, TX, Brysen Conner of Amarillo, TX, Erika Nielsen of Tennessee, Tristen Nielsen of Grand Junction, CO, Clayton Nielsen of Carmi, IL and Jessie Pecho of Florida; his great grandchildren, Hallie Baker (Jonathan), Hayden McAdams, Marlee Brooks, Ellie Brooks of Amarillo, Kyer King of Tucson, AZ, Raleigh and Alexander Nielsen of Tennessee; his great great grandchild Bonnie Baker of Amarillo; and his stepchildren, Steve Scott (Sue), James Scott (Nancy) of Cedaredge, CO, Billy Scott (Kim) and Sandra Rose (Todd) of Dodge City, KS. He is also survived by many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
