He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Garcia and Oralia Garcia; his parents-in-law, Silivano and Delores Martinez; and his brothers-in-law, Steven Martinez and Leroy Trujillo.

He is survived by: his wife Leona Garcia; his children, Kelly Garcia (Nici) of Firestone, CO, Krystal Taylor (Jeremy) of Amarillo, TX and Kyle Garcia of Del Norte; his grandchildren, Kannon Garcia, Allyson Garcia, Natalie Taylor and Cleo Garcia; and his sisters, Shirley Garcia, Kathy Pacheco (Phil), Debbie Velasquez and Leslie Martinez (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
