It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Elizabeth Roden of Creede, Colorado, born in Big Spring, Texas, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Melanie Freedle (Bo), Rhonda Young (Duane) and Jeff Roden (Nancy); her grandchildren, Kimberly Cain, Justin Roden, Jordan Roden, Isabelle Freedle, Casper Freedle and Zachary Young; her great grandchild Kyla Rhoades; her parents, Jefferson H Riggs and Lora Gobbel Riggs; and her siblings, Felton Riggs, Delbert Riggs, Tommy Riggs and Jackie Phillips (Harris).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that offerings be made in Joyce's memory to Operation Christmas Child as expressions of our collective gratitude.
