He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell D. Flatten and Marcella Flatten (Wilkinson); his sister Helen; and his son Robert L Flatten II. He is survived by: his sisters, Clara, Beverly, Marian and Marcella; and his children, Lawrence W. Flatten, Loren R. Flatten (Connie), Theresa L. Hefner and Lorraine E. Higgs. He is also survived by grandchildren, one deceased grandson and eleven great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Taylor Funeral Services Chapel (682 1725 Rd, Delta, CO 81416). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 1515 Ogden Rd, Montrose, CO 81401. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mesa View Cemetery.
