He was predeceased by: his adoptive father Lewis William Kleckler (Una Jessop Kleckler); his parents, Lewis and Una; his stepfather Walt Brewer; his sister Jane Kleckler (Pickert); his nephews, Jimmy Pickert, Brian Pickert and Wayne Pickert; and his brother-in-law James Amato.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Kleckler (Hughes); his children, Kevin Kleckler (Carrie), William Schaefer (Lisa) and Betty Schaefer Hodges; and his grandchildren, Andrew Kleckler, Jenna Kleckler, Lewis Kleckler, Dustin Brown, Brandon Brown, Jason Steed, Mitchell Miesner, Michael Miesner, Kalynn Schaefer, Marcus Schaefer, Alyssa Mattinson, Elise Arnold and Clayton Arnold. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Grant Mortuary Chapel (621 Yampa Ave, Craig, CO 81625). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church.
