She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph McPhail and Pauline McPhail (Skinner); her husband Michael Lyle Maxson; her sons, Devon, Aaron Maxson of Fisherville, KY and Jason Maxson (Nikkole) of Savery, WY.; her siblings, Jim McPhail (Joyce) of Page, AZ, Tony McPhail (Vicki) of Grand Junction, CO and Traci Files (Dale) of Rangely, CO.; her grandchildren, Caleb, Seth and Jori Maxson; her brother-in-law Richard "Dick" Maxson of Craig; and her pet Jake.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Jody's memory to the Moffat County Humane Society.
