He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Melville and Martha Daphine Elzey (Bisel); his wife Tracy Marie Sheldon-Elzey of Craig; his children, Matthew Brian Sheldon (Amanda Rae), Angela Dawn Frenzel (Jeffrey Walter), Joshua Eric Garbani and Deana Michelle Evans (Donald Lee); his brother Fred Melville Elzey (Sophia); his grandchildren, Matthew "Parker", Haisley Rebecca, Rylan Michael Adam, Alex Jeffrey, Kolton Chase, Bella Grace, Nicholas Tate, Brooklyn Elizabeth, Bryce Jeff and Shelby Leann; and his great grandchildren, Aiden William and Ivy Rose.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Grant Mortuary Chapel (621 Yampa Ave, Craig, CO 81625).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Mike's memory to the Moffat County Humane Society, in care of Grant Mortuary.
