She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harrison and Gertrude Mae Sanderson (Bates); her husband Axel William Nelson; her daughter Barbara Sue Nelson Anderson; her granddaughter Susie Nelson; and her daughter-in-law Betty Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Larry (Jill Nelson), Richard (Paula Nelson), Kathy (Ron Lay), Peggy (Keith Campbell) and David (Wendy Nelson). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
