He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerb Jepkema and Florabelle Jepkema; his wife Audrey May Brown; and his sister Jane. He is survived by: his children, Laurel DeVries, Juliana Mower and John David Jepkema.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Moffat County High School Girls' Athletic Department in John's memory.
