He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse James and Shirley Evelyn Hixson (McCallister). He is survived by: his wife Sherry Hixson; his sons, Eric Hixson (Randall) of Denver, Greg Hixson (Brandy) of Craig and Cory Hixson (Shala) of Ooltewah, TN; his stepson Josh Garner (Maqesha) of Broomfield, CO; his sister Colleen Price of Grand Junction; his grandchildren, Gregory, Kaden, Chance, Haizlett and Cru Hixson; and his stepgrandchildren, Kaden, Jacoby and JosLyn Garner.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jim's memory to the local V.F.W. or American Legion in care of Grant Mortuary.
