He was predeceased by: his parents, Jo Backes and Chester Backes. He is survived by: his sons, Larry Backes of Craig Colorado, Randy Backes of Hayden Colorado and Charlie Backes of Fort Lauderdale Florida. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, 8 great- grandchildren, and 2 great- great grandchildren.
