It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Marie Fahrion in Cortez, Colorado, born in Dolores, Colorado, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Taylor (Bill) and Marie Taylor (Mason); her husband James Fahrion; and her siblings, George Taylor and Allene Taylor.
She is survived by: her sister Leona Hurst (Nubby); her children, Jack Fahrion (Jill), Carma Moore and Janet Walker (Chris); her granddaughter Tamara Gonzalez (Jacob); and her great grandchildren, Nicholas and Benjamin.
