She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Withers and Hattie Viola Withers (Davis); her husband Melvin Charles Carlson; her siblings, William Withers, Carol Withers and Ruth Withers; and her grandson Tommy.

She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Carlson of Cortez, CO and Steven Carlson of Missoula, MT. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
