With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma Joe Cox (Cortez, Colorado), who passed away on May 22, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Thelma Bohn (Grim) and Joe Bohn of Addington; her siblings, Charles, Nettie Rose and Lina Lou; her spouse Jonce E. Cox; and her grandchildren, Todd and Dawn Hamilton.

She is survived by : her children, Linda Wells (Glenn), Gloria Hamilton (Phil) and Rick Cox (Dianne); her grandchildren, Kathy Anderson (Ben), John Norton (Michelle), Suzanne Hamilton TeKrony (John), Stuart Cox (Abby) and Merideth Cox; her great grandchildren, Jonathan Seely (Kayla), Austin Seely, Karlee Mattinson (Kevin), Ashley, Hailey Norton, Sophia, Annabel TeKrony, Amelia and Jonce Cox; and her great great grandchildren, Colt, Annalise Seely and Karder Mattinson.

In lieu of flowers the family would ask that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church at P.O. Box 1016, Cortez, CO 81321 or Hospice of Montezuma at P.O. Drawer 740, Cortez, CO 81321, in appreciation of the compassionate care they provided to Sally and the support for her family.
