He was predeceased by: his son Tyler James; his father Marvin R. Mathews; and his brother Randy Mathews. He is survived by: his children, Brycen Headrick (Shay) and Iris Mathews; his mother Charlotte Mathews; his brother Alan Mathews (Anna); his nephew Ayden Mathews; and his niece Aysia Mathews.
