It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jody S. Mealing (Cortez, Colorado), who passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Taylor "J. T." Wilkerson Jr. and Joylene Dolores Wilkerson (Wilden); her former husband Bill Mealing; and her brother Corey Wilkerson. She is survived by: her husband David Dyson of Cortez; her pets, Tucker and Maggie; and her nieces and nephews, Michael Wilkerson, Greyson Wilkerson, Camie Funk and Jax Funk. She is also survived by extended family along with numerous friends.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Cortez Animal Shelter, For Pet's Sake, Obe's Animal Sanctuary, an animal-supporting organization of your choice, or to Hospice of Montezuma.
