We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2024, at the age of 58, James Hofmeister of Cortez, Colorado, born in Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

For James is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lisa Buzzelli; and his son Vincent Hofmeister. He is survived by: his parents, Giannina Hofmeister and Gary Hofmeister (Joanne); his children, Lindsay Hofmeister and Josh Hofmeister; and his siblings, Emily Russell (Devon) and Carter Hofmeister (Eve). He is also survived by his family, friends.
