He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Albert and Grace Marie Gilpin (Foster); his former wife Millie Ann Gilpin; his children, Billy Gilpin and Lorena Gilpin; his siblings, Robert Gilpin, Dean Gilpin, Willie Gilpin, Wanda St. John and Jessey Gilpin; and his grandson Joshua Stratton.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Gilpin of Cortez; and his daughter Lorraine.
