It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Alexandria Ayers (Cortez, Colorado), who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Helen Alexandria may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Sabo and Stella Sabo; her brothers, Carl Sabo and John Michael Sabo; and her grandson Seth Hatfield.
She is survived by: her sisters, Pauline Oldfield, Barbara Amon and Margaret Dravate; and her children, Daniel, Beverly, Wade Retherford and Valerie McLain. She is also survived by six grandsons; and twelve great-grandchildren.
