It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Sue Newby (Cortez, Colorado), who passed away on October 29, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ford Stanley and Muriel Stanley (McGlothlin); her husband Charles Newby; her daughter Dena Newby; and her daughter-in-law Lori Newby.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Gene (Debra) of Bayfield, Lori Kay Schluter (Joe) of Cortez, Richard Ford Arriola (Paula), Bill Blackmer (Peggy) of Arriola and Carol; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Amanda, Jessica, Robert, Alex, Micky, Misty, Shannon, Cassie, Devin and Davey; and her sister Linda Kay Crowley (Harvey).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lewis Arriola Community Center in memory of Carol Newby.
