Careen Dee Porter Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2023, at the age of 85, Careen Dee Porter (Cortez, Colorado) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kenneth Frederick Carmichael and Josephine Rauzi; her grandson Noah; her children, Danny Porter (Paulette) of Lewis and Cara Rieb (Dennis) of Cortez; her grandchildren, Tessa Porter, Sidnie and Rylee Majors; her brother Carmichael (Cheryl) of Farmington, NM.; and her sisters-in-law, Ardy Ptolemy, Nancy Porter, Carmichael and Ptolemy. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

On either Saturday or Sunday mass, you could hear the beautiful music as she played and sang on the organ donated by her parents.
