With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Audrie Jean Johnston of Cortez, Colorado, who passed away on January 5, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Norval Emery Malchert and Alice Emeline (Zufelt); her husband Robert Wolfner Eppstein; her former husband Donald L. Johnston; her sister Patricia Youngs; her children, Steven Wolfner Eppstein, Christopher John Eppstein, Robert Eugene Eppstein (Olga), Laurel Ann (Peter Montano) and Richard Ira Eppstein (Pamela); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Meghann, Jessica, Garrett, Nick, Aaron, Theresa, Kharis, Chelsey and Shayna.
But she also found time to serve at a wide variety of organizations including infant crisis care-centers, Cerebral Palsy Foundation, Girl Scouts, Alzheimer facilities and neighborhood clubs.
