He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Ben and Susie Garcia; his wife Lois; and his siblings, Ben, John, William, Pauline, Dolores, Wilhelmina "Goomie" and Rosemary.
He is survived by: his friend Cortez; his family Alex; and his siblings, Susan McIntosh of Farmington, Elizabeth Williams of Blanco and Lawrence Garcia of Alaska. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
