She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Thoring and Tordis Thoring; her husband Mark Skarphol; and her brother-in-law George Howell. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Paige, Annie, Daxton, Shayd, Brennan, Cameron and Bennie; and her siblings, Aggie Howell, Ray (Diane) and Rod (Colleen). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and several great nieces and nephews.
