He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Lane; his grandparents, Worth Lane, Elizabeth Lane and Herbert Koester; his uncle Art Lane; and his father-in-law Craig Hansen.
He is survived by: his wife Talli Lane of Cope, CO; his children, Mathias Lane of Cope, CO, Wyatt Lane, Shania Lane, Reagan Lane (Shayla) of Kit Carson, CO and Jami Lane (Dustin) of Eads; his mother Janet Richards (Dan) of Eads, CO.; his grandchildren, Journey Lane, Alyxx Egley, Taivyn Kraft, Zoie Kraft and Kendra Kraft; his brother Neil Lane (Tonia) of Loveland, CO; his sister-in-law Tanaia Hansen of Chivington, CO; his grandparent Marie Koester of St. Louis, MO; and his uncles, Phyllis Lane of Eads, CO, Evelyn Searle of Dalhart, TX, Faye Hayes of Karval, CO, Gary Koester (Lisa) of St. Louis, MO and Dave Koester (Pam) of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, a host of other family and friends.
