He was predeceased by: his father Eugene A. Rolf. He is survived by: his mother Elda C. Rolf; his wife Cheryl L. Rolf; his daughters, Anna [John] Smith, Jodi [Ben] Polson, Nora Rolf and Mollie [Sean] Rolf; and his siblings, Ruth [Tom] Stuwe, James, Cheryl J. and Rick [Debbie] Rolf. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, five adored grandchildren.

“John was a man of God. When my nephew committed suicide, I called John and he gave words of comfort and peace and to let me know that God loved my nephew as well as me. He was a good friend and he is now in Paradise. We had talked a few weeks before his passing and he was not afraid to leave here to meet the Lord. May my friend rest in Peace”

“Cheryl, So sorry to hear about John, as I heard it this evening in church at St. Paul, Grafton WI. I thought of him awhile ago when I saw he was at Gethsemane.....that was my first call as a DCE. As time flies I never got a chance to tell him. You were all at Castle Rock, now my oldest daughter and family live in Monument, their son went to UCCS and now a policeman for CO Springs.
