She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ron Carlson; her daughters, Vanessa Carlson and Larissa Lago; her siblings, Mary Bustos (Jake), Joe Baca, Ferman Jr. and Mondo De La Rosa (Sonja); her siblings-in-law, Ed Carlson, James McCall (Annie), Robert McCall (Lorma), Sandra Sivets, Deb Garner (Dave) and Karen Smith (Dave); her nieces and nephews, Terry Baca (Carolyn), Gabe Elizondo Justin (Peggy), Caleb Bustos, Deavin De La Rosa, Andrea White (Mitch) and Rylie De La Rosa; her grandchildren, Ania Alarid, Dante Alarid, Alia Lago and Renzie Lago; her great grandchild Anastasia Gonzalez; and her parents, Ferman Elizondo and Annie Elizondo.

“Dear Ron and family just found out about Betty passing away and I am devastated. We were the best of friends when I lived in Commerce City. She has been on my mind and I called and left messages and I thought it was weird that she didn't answer me back. I wanted to see if she ever got a new kidney. We had so many laughs and good times. It was through her Mother I met my husband Tony. My sincere condolences for your loss. I will always love my friend. Betz. May she rest in peace.”
