He is survived by: his siblings, John (Gil) and Patrcia; his children, Mona, Abe Jr., Gina (Richie) and Darryl (Tina); his siblings, Gil (Annie), Patricia, Richard (Charlotte), Ralph (Rita) and Toni Mae (Junior); his son Abel Jr. (Shantell); and his grandchildren, Sheena (Brandon), Anthony, Darryl Jr., Adam (Gabby), Anika, Caressa, Quinnen, Annabella, Kaelyn and Jonathan. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, and uncountable cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to Covid being the cause of his death, the family is asking guests to be vaccinated.
