It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Phifer (Colorado Springs, Colorado), born in Sparta, Tennessee, who passed away on July 1, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark H. Phifer and Laura Ida Phifer; his brother Earl Phifer; and his wife Billie Jean Sudbury. He is survived by: his brother Kenneth Phifer (Yvonne) of Livonia; and his stepsons, David V. Mathews and James D. Mathews (Georgette) of Colorado Springs. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
