He was predeceased by: his parents, Katsumi Inouye and Toshiko Inouye (Suo); his parents-in-law, Joseph Schlesinger and Perla Schlesinger; and his son Justin Inouye.
He is survived by: his wife Roxy Inouye; his son Joseph "Joey" Inouye; his siblings-in-law, Alan Schlesinger and Paula Schlesinger; and his pet Bobby. He is also survived by 2 nieces; a nephew; numerous cousins.
