It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Ray Young of Colorado Springs, Colorado, born in Marshall, Texas, who passed away on September 4, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Walter Ray departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Walter Ray may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Walter Ray leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Glenn Young and Irma Young (Irrine); and his brothers, Glenn Young and Jerry Young. He is survived by: his wife Gisela Young; his children, Roy Wayne Young, Rita Ann Pollet (Don) and Donna Lynn Young; and his grandson James Randall Perry.
