She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Jones and Vera Jones (Hodge); and her siblings, Valera Jones, Ruby Riemann, Marilyn Hadley, Dean, Carl and Wayne.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Jo (James Woods) of Parker, CO and Micky Eugene (Karen) of Eagle, CO; her husband Bill Eugene Poage; her siblings, Glenn Jones (Lee) of Lenora, KS, June Stockman (Keith) and Joyce Hodges (Terry Smith) of Colorado Springs, CO; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Reimann of Edmond, KS.. She is also survived by three grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
Memorials in Valeta's name may be made to Sunrise United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.
