It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley L. Brown of Colorado Springs, Colorado, who passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Thompson and Dorothy Thompson (Oldham). She is survived by: her children, Steven Brown, Vanessa Trujillo of Johnson, Alicia (Brian Cox) of Plains and David Brown of Portland, Oregon; and her brother Sam Thompson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Homes - Johnson (605 W North Ave, Johnson City, KS 67855). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (207 W Greenwood Ave N, Johnson City, KS 67855).
