She is survived by: her daughters, Carrie Hurst Taylor (Michael) of Billings, MT and Jennifer Hurst Gorbea (Edgardo) of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandchildren, Ellen Taylor, Silvia Gorbea and Sebastian Gorbea; and her close friend Donald Bryant.
Sarah was employed at Eastern Montana College and the Billings Deaconess Hospital Foundation in Billings, MT.
