He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Sylvester and Martha Sylvester (Ammesmaki); his brother Ronald Sylvester (Judith); his siblings-in-law, Vance Borum, John Lyons and Mary Repola; and his nephew Robert Lyons (Lisa).
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Sylvester (Repola); his daughter Mindy Sylvester (Negaunee) of Iron Mountain; his siblings, Marie Lyons of Negaunee, Ruth Boyce (Robert) of Marquette and Russell Sylvester (Kathy) of Ishpeming; and his brother-in-law Steve Repola. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Bob's memory to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
