She was predeceased by: her parent Josef Zilker; her husband Joseph C. Meadows; her daughter Monika Chastain; her siblings, Josef Zilker and Irmgard Lohr; and her sisters-in-law, Gerda Weber and Annie Jo Gartrell.
She is survived by: her parent Franziska Zilker (Bauer); her granddaughter Christina Uebelhart (Jay); and her great grandchildren, Jadyn, Christopher and Zachary Uebelhart. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews in Germany and Georgia; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Paula's memory to The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region or the Breast Cancer Foundation to fund treatment and find a cure for metastatic breast cancer.
